Aldo Arollo Quille
When I was young, I used to go to church with my aunt and uncle. I wasn't really interested, but I went to play with the other kids. At the age of twelve, a couple of different Christian brothers talked to me about Jesus, and one of them gave me a Bible, which made me really happy. A few weeks later, I asked the Lord into my heart as my personal savior, and within the following months I got baptized. I gave my life completely into His hands, wanting Him to have His way in my life.
When I was 17, I joined the army and my life was very different. I didn't have the opportunity to hear the word of God. was surrounded by. He did protect me, and I praised Him for that when I got out. Once outside, I started to attend church and pray for more understanding of His word. I realized that I was a sinner destined for hell, and was so thankful to Jesus Christ for saving me. With all my heart I wanted Him to use me and be glorified through my life. I began to walk in His ways, and really grow in the Lord. Although I stumbled along the way, the Lord was always with me.
One day, however, the enemy caused me to fall and disobey the Lord. I was 23 years old and I fell into sin with a young woman. But I repented and asked the Lord to forgive me. I prayed to God that if it was His will then let this girl be my helpmate, and accept her as His child too. The Lord heard my prayer, and we got married. Now she is baptized and we are both children of God. We now both want to serve the Lord with all of our beings, and be used as His instruments for glory. We are committed to obeying His word and being faithful to Him until the day that He takes us into His presence.
